Cricket Betting at 6s — From T20 to Test, bet on every format
BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup, and international matches — betting at 6s makes every moment of cricket more engaging. From understanding odds to placing live bets, you will find everything on this page.
Cricket's three formats and the competitions Bangladeshis love
To understand cricket betting, it helps to know the formats first. A T20 match wraps up in a few hours, so you get your result quickly. Teams aim to score as many runs as possible in 20 overs, and sudden momentum shifts are very common in T20.
In an ODI, or one-day match, each side has 50 overs. The middle overs offer more opportunity for the match to change course, so odds shift repeatedly. Test cricket is a five-day game — a test of patience, but from a betting perspective it offers a different variety of markets: innings results, draw probability, and daily session bets.
The most popular competition among Bangladeshi fans is BPL — the domestic T20 league where local and international stars take the field. IPL is also widely followed here, as cricket fans closely track the subcontinent's game. Beyond that, the T20 World Cup, ICC tournaments, and Bangladesh Tigers bilateral series are all available at 6s.
One key difference between cricket and football betting is the over-by-over structure — odds can be recalculated after every ball, unlike football where changes are tied to specific events like goals. Football markets are mainly centered on match result and goals, while cricket offers far more variety through runs, wickets, and over-based bets.

Learn about popular cricket betting markets
Each market has its own characteristics — some are straightforward, others require a bit more knowledge of the match.
Match Winner
Pick which of the two teams will win. Example: Team A vs Team B — the bet wins if Team A wins.
Toss Winner
Which team will win the toss — the result is known before the match starts. Team A or Team B, with chances that are generally close.
Top Batsman
Pick which batsman will score the most runs for a team. A middle-order batsman can also spring a surprise here.
Total Runs Over/Under
Choose whether the total runs scored in the allotted overs will be above or below a set target. Pitch conditions and weather play a big role here.
Multi Bet
Combine multiple bets into one. If all selections are correct, you get returns at the multiplied odds — but one wrong selection and the entire bet is lost.
Top Bowler
Which bowler will take the most wickets in the match — this market becomes especially interesting when the pitch is helpful for spin or swing.
Multi bet example: If three selections have odds of 1.40, 1.80, and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 4.79 (approximately). On a ৳100 bet, if all selections are correct the return is ৳479 — but if even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Decimal, fractional and American odds — what is the difference?
Odds are written in three ways. 6s primarily uses decimal odds, but knowing all three formats makes it easier to read any betting information.
Example 1 — Underdog team: Even if Team A seems likely to win, a ৳500 bet returns ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit). If the bet loses, ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Favourite team: If Team B is the favourite, the decimal odds are 1.80, fractional 4/5, American −125 (minus means you need ৳125 to win ৳100). On a ৳500 bet the return is ৳900 (৳400 profit).
These numbers are for illustration only — actual odds vary by match and profit from betting is not guaranteed.
In-play betting during the match — odds change with every ball
Live in-play betting lets you place bets even after the match has started. In cricket this is especially dynamic because odds update instantly after every wicket, boundary, or dot ball.
Say Team A loses 3 wickets in the first five overs — their odds to win will rise (meaning their chances have dropped) and Team B's odds will fall. This creates a new opportunity to place a bet. In the final overs when just a small number of runs separates the sides, odds can shift dramatically after each ball.
In ODIs, when the powerplay ends, and in Tests, when pitch conditions change at the start of a session, specific situations also develop in the live markets. Keep in mind that in live betting you have less time to decide, so it is better to plan ahead.
At 6s, cricket live betting is available on the same platform alongside slots and other games. Those interested in different types of games can check the slots section or crash games.
Things to keep in mind for cricket betting
-
Choose markets that match the format
Total runs and toss are popular in T20; innings results and session bets offer a different experience in Test. -
Weather and pitch conditions
Rain or a wet pitch affects the run count. This information is useful for over/under markets. -
Set a budget in advance
Keeping a separate budget for each match helps betting stay entertainment. Do not try to recover losses by betting more. -
Focus on one market when starting out
Rather than spreading across many markets at once, start with straightforward ones like match winner or total runs. -
Do not rush in live betting
Odds move fast in-play, but pause for a moment before placing a bet based on an instant reaction. -
Responsible betting
Betting is for entertainment. For more information, read the responsible gaming guide.
